Hello, I got a build-upgrade to do, I have been getting lots of issues, The PC is about 6-7years ago, all parts were working correctly, then they decided to upgrade the pc, with RX 580, 5rgb fan, cpu cooler, new gaming case amp; new psu new thermal paste. AMD APU-A8-5600K. CPU Cooler - Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition upgraded. Spinning those plus a few test workstations pretty much kills 32G VM devices. This unit allows for some more complex topologies and test environments. The additional NIC ports are nice if you spinning home lab environments testing 802.1x sort of stuff. It is not completely silent and you can definitely hear the fans if the room is quiet.

At idle, the noise levels were impeccable, even with the CPU turned up to 4.4GHz. Temperatures did climb to 22C above ambient, but that#x27;s well within levels that we can accept if the noise levels don#x27;t need to rise. Even at load, with the fans spinning at 1650 RPM, noise levels never went above 35dB A. There is a hardware problem here. Any functional air cooler and the 212 is definitely that should be keeping you below 50c at idle. There is an issue with your mounting job, thermal paste, or both. While I haven#x27;t installed one myself, I hear the 212 is pain to connect. Are you sure the fan is spinning on the cooler?.

I have the 212 as well. You#x27;d want one push and 1 pull. Also, make sure the 2nd fan moves the same amount of air as the 1st, or you#x27;ll create a bottleneck of sorts. But with 2 fans that have equal airflow, you will notice a drop in temps. But there will be more noise, unless you change both fans to a quiet fan like Noctua#x27;s. A Guy My Computer.
